The Secret of the Fours … Tens
The 4 and 10 pay an appealing 9:5 (nine dollars given back for ever $5 risked) reward, so if you bet $5 on the pair of numbers, you will acquire nine dollars if just one one hits. Of course, if you paid for the same numbers you would earn a bit more, but you will have to make at least a twenty-five dollar wager on the two ($50 total) to make this profitable.
Would you like to understand the secrets that craps pros use to profit from five dollar bets on the fours and 10s?
Let’s figure it out!
What you will be watching for is 3 hits on the four or 10 to make your $$$$. If the shooter is an excellent one, you will most certainly make this play, and this is how you’ll do it.
To start, lay 5 dollars on both the four and ten. Let us say that the 4 hits and you win nine dollars. Take both numbers down and you’ll have 19 dollars in cash (fourteen dollars from the four and five dollars from the 10). Add a buck to this and bet the 4 one more time for 20 dollars. When you succeed you get 36 dollars along with your $20 back. Pocket the $6 and bet the four a third time for $50. This 3rd hit earns you ninety dollars, and you take it all off the table. You have turned your starting bankroll of five dollars into $90 in just three hits.
Now if the ten hit 1st you will be betting on that number instead of the 4. Also, you must bet only if the shooter is good enough to wager on – does he lay big wagers on himself and look like he’ll be a great shooter? If not, do not bet on him – look for a different table or delay for the following tosser.
In 36 demonstration tosses, you should see three 4s and 3 10s, for a sum of six hits – the same number as the seven, so selecting an excellent shooter is extremely vital. Once you do, this 3 step play will function more frequently than you think. It’s an excellent way of changing five dollars into $90 in a short amount of time.
