Do Not Drink … Wager

[ English ]

If you like to take a drink every now and then, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a brick and mortar casino. I’m serious. Empty your billfold, your wallet, and keep all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Take whatever cash you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you plan on loosing and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Practical more like. You may well experience a win after a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that tale because it is as short-lived as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The 2 just do not mix.

Keeping your money at home is a little dramatic, however preventative actions for drastic actions is proportionate and necessary. If you wager to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you are able to afford to toss away your cash without a second thought, then drink all the no charge alcohol your gut can hold, but do not take debit cards and cheques to throw into the combination of chasing losses after your inebriated brain squanders everything!
